Music as a testimony of its context, of its emergency conditions, of the elements that constitute it. Sound materiality that is the memory of those who instantiate it, of those who perform it, of the threads of its forming weave (including those extra-musical threads). Music like photography, which preserves the discrete minute (a sound that, finally, only survives in memory), the sound trace of a traced furrow, an experience imprint (erfharung) on the sound object.
